As I understand this diet (which I admit is not very much), created by Dr. Manny Alvarez, there are seven Latin "power foods" that will supposedly increase your metabolism and allow you to lose weight faster as well as other health benefits.
By the way, if you watch this video, you'll see he comments that it's supposed to help women during the periods in their life when they have the most trouble losing weight:
- Before having babies
- After having babies
- Before menopause
- After menopause
Anyway, I digress. The diet, and its seven Latin "power foods" (and I'm always skeptical of foods called "power foods" or "secret foods" or "metabolism blasting foods") make you healthier and cause you to lose weight. It's the result of years of research and interviews with thousands of "very intelligent women."
Anyway,so what's the thing I noticed?
Just asking...
Hi BalletMommy,
I was trying to be discreet. At least it's nice to know that I'm not the only one who sees it. I thought, "Am I missing something?" It's kind of like the emperor's new clothes.
